Jalan Besar Stadium

I went to one of Singapore's stadiums to buy tickets for the Asean Championship match between Singapore and Thailand at Singapore's National Stadium. In the process, I was having a laugh with other people waiting in line when a journalist approached me and conducted an interview. I thought it was all in good fun until friends started calling me the next day telling me I was on page two of Singapore's highest read newspaper, The New Paper. Its a shame I can't pay for my tuition with such things - even a free ticket would have suited me just fine.

Back in the news: Singapore's most-read The New Paper ran a page two feature on an American Fan

Me laughing with the camera in my face and the bystanders cheering from behind

Gripping quotes

The stuff of legends

Approaching Jalan Besar Stadium

I arrived an hour and a half early and even then the line was formed

Finally I am close to the window

It is fun looking back and seeing others go through what I did
